Bottom-Up Infrastructure is based at UCL. UCL is committed to ensuring our websites are inclusive and accessible for all.

We also aim to create an environment that enables anyone to participate fully in university life. More information on how we ensure this for staff, students and visitors to our campus locations is available on this website: Accessibility

Website standards compliance

Our website is built according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. (AA standard).

It is designed in line with recognised best practice, and training in creating accessible content is provided to all site owners and editors.

We are continuously working with editors to ensure they produce accessible content.

Please get in touch if you encounter a specific issue which we may be able to help you with.

Getting advice and support

There are a number of departments and teams whose aim is to make everyone’s experience of UCL as inclusive as possible. Please contact us at digitalaccessibility@ucl.ac.uk if you have any problems or questions.

We are currently expanding the UCL Accessibility Hub online – this will be the source of all the information, students, staff and visitors will need to make their experience on campus the best and most inclusive it can possibly be.

Enforcement procedure

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the accessibility regulations. If you are not happy with our response, or want to raise a specific concern, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS)
